Family fun is at the White Lake Area Arts and Crafts Festival June 16 and 17.

White Lake Area Arts and Crafts Festival is Father’s Day Weekend

Goodrich Park in Whitehall is home to the 40th Annual White Lake Area Arts and Crafts Festival. The event is expected to draw thousands of people this Father's Day weekend, June 16 and 17.

More than 75 talented and creative artists will participate in this very popular juried art show from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Those attending can purchase a variety of hand-made art and crafts such as jewelry, wood furniture, birdhouses, ceramics, items for the garden, clothing, paintings and prints, folk art, leather goods, floral designs, stained glass, signs, children's toys, and bath items.

A great line-up of musicians will entertain the crowds throughout the weekend. On Saturday, Mike Snell will be playing from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Plain Jane Glory from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, Keith Scott will be singing and playing the Chicago Blues from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These local favorites will provide a wide array of music and is sure to be enjoyed by the many that come out for a great afternoon filled with food, fun, and music.

For those with an appetite, a variety of food vendors will be serving various cuisines. Festival attendees can't miss the fun ice cream truck!

Spend a leisurely day at this popular outdoor event which is held off the shores of White Lake and under the trees at Goodrich Park. It's a beautiful spot to meet up with friends and neighbors you haven't seen for a while, discover some great finds and enjoy the music and ambiance of a sunny summer day.
